Jewish people have a reputation for being interested in earning money, being financially well off (which would be the expected result) and a having preference for dealing within their own communities.

The odd thing about Jews is that they have been just as hated and just as discriminated against as any other minority group (and probably just as vocal about calling themselves victims). However they have been more successful than any other easily identifiable minority group - suggesting that discrimination by society may not be much of an excuse for committing crime, living in poverty or lack of success.
