Let's pose a similar hypothetical. There is a referendum question to change the law to allow you take any
amount of money out of someone's bank account - provided you are willing
to give up double of the same money of your own. How do you vote? Good will (reputation) is an asset. Why is money different to good will?
Disclaimer: I never actually expressed an opinion one way or the other in this
thread - I just didn't want the debate to get covertly side-tracked into the defamation
debate. Clearly this is an overt side-track, so the earlier disclaimer served
its purpose.
