There is an even more interesting package I just found where you can look at the effects of population merging. http://pritch.bsd.uchicago.edu/software/structure2_1.html Check it out -- it allows you to look at the effect of breeding amongst populations and genetic movement. My brain would have to try a lot longer to work out how it is done, but it certainly looks really nice.
