What merits? What the US will do - enforce UN law for which in the past they had little interest in, a UN ruling which misses several other untrustworthy regiemes, to oust a dictator, ostensibly to revive the human rights of the populace but forgetting the two thirds of the world's nations which also use torture, in an attempt to shut down an unproven state supporter of terrorism (who were armed by the US), the terrorists are actually are rival faction who back the rebels in the south and would be happy if their faction had a coup and ruled their way. Powell says that 12 ( I think) terrorists were or still are operating in Iraq. Why doesn't the US shoot them, and if this means that Saddam Hussein is backing these people who would actually like to kill him and stage a coup and take power for themselves, then since the s11 terrorists trained in Florida, then obviously Jeb Bush backs terrorists. If the US knows that these people are being harboured, not in hding, why don't they kill them and show some concrete proof of this, like the phone conversations between the Colonel and General hiding the "vehicle"? If it is shown that Saddam really did back some of the terrorist attacks, send in the cavalry. I'd like to say " Is "I say kill the fool", but which look alike do you shoot at?
