I appreciate your views and not flaming me for expressing mine. I was mereley interested in the libertarian political philosophy and at its root it appears very sound. Now, maybe I misunderstand it but, I was 'dismayed' by the prevalence (here) of dare I say ignorance. Sorry but that is what it is- you can opt out of welfare imo but I put this to you: what would it cost you and -everyones- insurance premiums if desperate people started stealing and forcing crack down yours or your kids throats (force addiction)? Pay for their holiday in prison after paying lawyers, judges, and countless administrators to decide for how long? Sheesh what a waste of your money..easier giving them a few bucks to live on and look after themselves.
And if you wnat to take crack or smoke dope by exercising your legitimate right you better not be doing it while I'm your patient and your my surgeon!
