OK, then why are the French leaders wasting their time in talks with 'Muslim community leaders'? Is this a rhetorical question? Politicians think they need to be seen to be doing something, that's why they speak to self-appointed community leaders. The French need to bust the perpetrators of these crimes and then set about liberalising their economy to create demand for labour. You don't have time to riot when you've got a job to go to.
