I have to write a funny little anecdote about this. A friend was living in a caravan park ['trailer-park'] with his wife, and
brothers-in-law [insert joke about "trailer-trash" here]. The youngest
brother-in-law was 13 at the time, and had a girlfriend (from a nearby caravan)
who was 14 and bigger than he was. They had sex several times behind his
caravan, but one time she decided to say 'no' when it was pretty much all over. The girl's father found out about it and started threatening him,
someone called the police, and the father made the police lay charges of rape.
The young boy was 'hiding out' at my place for a while because it was too
dangerous to go back to the caravan park. When it eventually went to court, the judge listened to the story, took one
look at the boy, and then at the girl (who was several inches taller and
generally bigger than him) and kicked them all out of his court-room. Thank god for judges with some common sense.
