Yes! There is no such thing as collective private property. So if Australia is private property, it is owned by ..... the state!
But the state itself only controls territory it conquers. There is no way to further legitimate its ownership.
So those who seek this method of legitimating the states interference with private property actually legitimate violence against the state. This shouldn't satisfy either side of the argument.
I am beleiving less and less that there is an absolute solution to any political question. I'm more interested in how we can make things better.
