>> Mr. Howard, you and your friends cannot win an international guerilla war. No
>> matter where you move your war machine, the enemies you make will rise
>> again. Clumsy attempts at weeding only spreads more seeds. Great to see the intellectualelite
join the Bovination. Welcome! This wording is so eloquent and poetic - worthy, in fact, of an Islamic
sermon: "Lord Vader, the tighter your grasp, the more star systems will slip
through your fingers". Oops, that was Star Wars, sorry. Actually though (as much as I hate to agree with a member of the intellectual
elite), I agree that Australia cannot win an
international guerrilla war. But we don't have to. Closing
our borders to fundamentalist Islamic thugs and sending them a
strong message that we are more powerful than they are will probably solve most
of the problem. Remember that the only things that these people understand are force and terror. Ultimately
that is what will cower them. And we don't have to win the war - we just have to contain them. Then the
fundamentalist Islamic world can continue to suffer in pious poverty, squalor and
repression while we get on with living our lives. But most Australians would probably settle for a compromise - a closed border,
deportation of Islamic extremists and no war. It's a close call. But the Left are intent on making Australians share the cost of opening the
borders to fundamentalist Islamic thugs, and .. well .. they maybe they
shouldn't complain about having to share the cost of the Rights war. One good subsidy deserves another.
