Why am I a hypocrite? - I already do many good works in my community, or give my best efforts; but I cannot be all my brother's keepers. There are too many impoverished people in the world for any one person to help them all directly. But that does not mean that the Government, on our behalf, should not help and protect such people from being exploited. You seem to have a meek and mild version of compassion; hear no evil, speak no evil, do no evil. But eveil happens when good men do nothing, such as turning a blind eye to the exploitation for the purposes of fornication of already impoverished people.
