And once again we see that feminism is women's worst enemy, particularly in the age of globalization. When striking workers raise wages and production costs, people just start importing goods from overseas, leaving the strikers unemployed. So too, feminist male-hatred prices many Australian women out of the marriage market, and men with attractive personalities (and attractive incomes) import the desired product. This is an excellent point, even if the langauge is a touch inflamatory. The most recent example of this lunacy is the push by Toyaota workers - or at least their "representatives" in the AMWU - for "menstrual" leave. What is funding an extra 12 days leave a year going to do to the competitiveness of Australian car plants? And when deciding whether to hire a woman or a man to work on the assembly line, what it the extra menstrual leave - on top of the threat of maternity leave - going to do to the incentives to take on the woman? Feminists, Doug Cameron and the Left behave as if markets do not exist and businesses owe them a job - on their terms, however stupid and unviable they may be. And then they complain afterwards about the inequities of globalization!!!
