The sexual practices you talk about are much like a drug - designed to generate a sense of well-being without biological success. Those benefits may often be outweighed by the moral dilemmas involved. But one of the links to libertarianism is that women are attracted to political power, whether it is based more on economic talent, as it would be in a free market, or on political tactics, as it is now. I previously said this on the topic of women and ethics. >>Men hold other men to a higher ethical standard than that to which they hold women. The reason: women can bear their children, while men are their competitors. Women seem to be attracted to political power in men - maybe because women are physically smaller and more dependent, especially when they have young children. So to the extent that the ruling elite are masters of deception (and self-deception) this does make women susceptible to unethical behavior. But this may be primarily a systemic problem that would be minimized in a free market.<<
