No Strawman, I never said any woman deserves to be raped - that is your deduction. No woman ever deserves to be raped, but we live in a world where there are men who will take advantage of a woman who is drunk the point of being almost senseless, and that can take the form of rape, or of having sex with a person who in the cold light of day one would not have had sex with. My morality is not odd. It is that as a female myself and the mother of daughters that we live in an unfair world and it is better to protect yourself by not getting senselessly drunk from those who would take of advantage of you in that state. And that if you do and you really are raped juries will still see being drunk in many cases as a contributory factor whether they admit it or not. And also that lovemaking with someone who cares about you is infinitely preferable to a drunken fumble with a man who, (possibly), couldn't wait to get rid of you the next day. My morailty is that my daughters are the most precious things in the world to me and I teach them, as my mother taught me,to put value on themselves and how they are treated.
