So much to say not enough time and space to even decide

whether it is worth taking the time to try to explain the

difficulties of not being a 'full blood' aborginal to some

narrow minded people.

It is a sad sad world we live in today all the people need

to do is get on with their lives and try to live in peace

and harmony. Not that that will ever happen in my life

time. My people have been fighting since European's first

thought we needed to be civilized and that fight will never end.

What is really makes me sick to my stomach is what's

happening to Palm Island. I was born there and moved away

when I was seven with my family. Now alot of people are

still hurting themselves and other over there. It's

something not even I understand. I know that alot of my

people have substance dependancy but that is considered in

other 'white' people's eyes as being a decease but when

some look at aborginals with those same eye's it's a

discrace.

I would love to see alot more aborginal people becoming

outspoken with the things that are really happening in

their communities and tell the whole story whether it be

good or bad so the world can see how hard it really is to

be aborginal in a white world.
