Most people would have described it a monkey. A biologist may have a narrower definition of monkey, but for most of us
'monkey' and 'primate' don't really have different meanings. Could you tell me
the difference without resorting to wikipedia? About 7 million years ago, a stupid, hairy, but otherwise naked, common
ancestor of chimps and humans walked the earth. That creature was
unquestionably a primate, but 'monkey' is a close enough description. >> I hate to be a pedant, but .. I hate to call someone called 'Yobbo' a monkey but .. :) >> that exact concept "WE ARE NOT MONKEYS" is used by

already, so I don't feel the need for 'helping anyone'. The thing I like most
about racial supremicists and creationists is taunting them about their
'suspect' ancestory. How many of those Good 'Ol Boys have a tinge of the niggra in them, do ya
reckon? Boy, I'd love to have the money to some some serious DNA testing in the
Deep South ..
