No Peter, if you were really committed to Australian politics you would know where you were when the elections were held, and who you voted for. Crap - one can be extremely committed to Australian politics but, at the same time, recognise the pointlessness of voting personally, given that (a) what decides elections is a few votes in marginal seats; (b) representative democracy does not necessarily deliver the rule of the people anyway, as reflected inter alia in the euthanasia debate.
