And your solution is to allow an even larger mob in to try to control it for themselves. Just because the government steals your wealth through the taxation system is not justification for stealing a commonwealth car.

Yes, the government stole it. Who do you think it ought to be handed back to? The Aborigines? Regardless - when it is handed back, then it will no longer be my business.

87% came from the polls conducted just after the event. People may approve of a particular action, but still vote for someone else - particularly if the other guy, ie Kim (Fatboy) Beasley, goes along with it.

John Howard's mandate is built on democracy. The electoral system is just fine - it's a democratic electoral system. The problem is the people in the democracy. If 51% of Australians became libertarians, then we would become a libertarian state by Christmas. But don't hold your breath.
