I understand your handicap, but mother's milk was a while ago now. Have you made any genuine effort to clear your head? To reach the conclusion which I take it is the conclusion you have reached, I would need to believe that Saddam Hussein would have resigned a year ago without the necessity of a war. I would need to believe that the billions put into Saddams hands by the corrupt actions of the UN were not used in part to support terrorism, and in part to corrupt journalists, diplomats and UN personnel and countries like Russia, France and Germany to oppose the war. I would need to believe that the Oil for Food scam would not be continuing even now.I am never likely to believe any of those things or to understand how any one else would. Perhaps if I read up on the nonsense of Popper, Kuhn, the lies of John Pilger. Hang on, what is wrong with truth and common sense, just because it does not prompt me to oppose a necessary war? Why would you like a different standard of proof for UN criminality, than for the trumped up allegations of US atrocities? The UN documents will be hard to come by, it having issued instructions to its staff not to hand over documents to the US investigation. Hardly conduct worthy of its purported innocence. More likely indicative of how high the guilt goes. Jock Lenehan
