But low and decreasing fertility is an even stronger sign of moral failure. The global suppliers of government services are an imposed cartel, not a natural cartel. But freer markets, even in a context where there is an imposed cartel of states, do produce more wealth. By extension a true free market will be much more successful than the creaky old system we have now.
