correctness - she challenged the establishment views on immigration policy and
Aboriginal rights. Pauline's legacy is not a changed economic direction for the nation. Does
anyone really believe that the major parties picked up votes by adopting her
economic policies? Pauline did her bit to help the pendulum swing back from a dangerous and
repressive point in the scale of political correctness. And as for being a xenophobic homophobe - surely libertarians recognize
anyone's right to be those things? Just because she copied her economic policies from the Australian Democrats
is not a reason to write her off completely. Besides - we should go easy on leftie politicians who are women. If our welfare state is
going to force me to spend
the rest of my life sucking on the government tit, surely a female politician
is better than a man?
