Yes, it's all about choices. And in this instance the government has made the choice for us, insisting that it is safer to walk home than it is to drive home in an 'inappropriate' car. Strawman is pointing out that perhaps the government isn't the best placed to make such choices. All actions have risks. All actions have costs and benefits. The important thing to consider is which person is best place to weight the benefits and costs of their own actions. Libertarians generally suggest that each individual is best placed... while other believe it to be politicians and bureaucrats in a little office somewhere in Canberra.
