You say:
3. Which country was responsible for a car bomb which killed 80 civilians in Beirut in 1985 in a botched assassination attempt, thereby making it the most lethal terrorist bombing in modern Middle East history?
On 23 October 1983 a truck bomb blew up the US Marine's headquarters in Beirut, while another blew up the headquarters of the French forces. The two bombs killed 242 US Marines and 58 French. Responsibility was claimed by Shia groups. That makes point 3 wrong in fact.
What were the US and French forces doing there? They were serving as part of the multi-national force that had entered to stop the massacres of Palestinian refugees.
