well - couple of things it's not certain that they would have used a WMD, as they were obviously targetting foreigners (the club that was targetted didn't allow locals) and a WMD would have killed many more locals than foreigners. ...but to be fair that's not really your point. if extreme muslim terrorists could attack Australia with a WMD then we have to be concerned that they would. the next intellegent question would be - how do we prevent it. you suggest that we invade a country. you don't way why that country, you don't specify the criteria for invading a country, you don't suggest what benefits come from invading that country, you don't consider that any other outcomes could eventuate from invading such a country. but I guess good arguments were never a match for a bit of humour (and if Tim Blair is anything to run from... insults, instults, insults).
