You are right, John, I do know better. The purpose of my post was to stimulate discussion, something that has been lacking here of late. But I wasn't being totally facetious. I have been told the more consistent philosophy is the superior (a very Randian position), so my mixed economy beliefs is therefore inferior to the rigid libertarianism. I was just trying to point out that the most consistent brand of libertarianism has few, if any, adherents (as you acknowledge) and that it has buckley's of getting adopted by the population at large. I'll leave the strawmen to Strawman in future.
