Not being smug, but where did they get that from? One persons account; One incident What they were doing was just plain illegal and tantamount to arson. I don't expect to happen because people know that doing that, they are effectively arsonists. Not mentioning common law issues, incentive to protect neighbouring insured porperty, or how they were seemingly not ideally suited to that line of work, and up till then I suppose all methods of firefighting were very primitive. You don't think any organisation is open to rivalry and territoiral pissing, especially Government, when it has so many levels and departments? NSW firefighters from Lithgow came to Canberra, and did not fight fires, because the ACT authoirities were extremely rude and also would not post them to an area to be useful. They had a gutful and did not have the authourty to make their own judgements.. No other private organisation has a right to tell you where you go to fight fires, they could have made their won judgement in a market system.
