It is not the conservatives but the political correct infrustructure which is at fault The type of relationships I am talking about are rarely of interest to sophisticated, liberated young women & men. Rather they are imposed on naive subsurvient young woman,many foreign born,who are virtually sold into such feudal relationships My associates who are involved in various charities tell me it is not uncommon amongst certain ethnic groups
for one man to have multiple wives- supported at tax payers expense (& charities) Ironically, such groups use western societies fundamentalist-like commitment to individuals rights to hide and nurture their archaic practices. Attempts to investigate and expose such activities run up against such things as privacy legislation & anti-discrimation legislation, charges of racism and a media fearful of transgressing politically correct norms.
