If the Govenrment is correct, and this legisiation regarded a marriage between a man and a woman, then it could be argued it is right, however, this could also mean it only has the power to legislate on the marriages of men and women, or that since communicationsa dn transport has come to mean IT and so on, that gay marriage is also valid.
