sensationalism (and to make a few low-brow fart jokes (well, OK, technically
piss jokes in this case)) was too great to resist. A true populist never
lets the truth stand in the way of a good story. I actually believe that the British soldiers are better trained. Britain and
Australia seem to follow a similar strategy with defense - fewer (but better
trained) soldiers. Sadly, the US seems to be in the Chinese mold of creating a mountain of flesh
and calling it a defense force. Of course the Americans also issue their
mountain of flesh with some kick-ass firepower which actually makes it
dangerous. Sending reserves over to Iraq to handle an internationally sensitive issue
is actually a little stupid, and now Dubya is going to pay the price - on
his knees apologising to the Arabs.
