D The AIDS Industry: The collection of organizations and individuals who benefit from AIDS.

In a sense, all capitalism, or even all technology is based on human suffering. While a doctor healing the sick may sound like a noble endeavor, the reality is that he is earning money through the suffering (the sickness) of others. This does not make him a bad person - overall, most people would agree that doctors make a positive contribution - they ease more suffering than the suffering caused by people having to cough up with the money. But doctors are basically humans who provide a service for money.

Unfortunately governments (and guilt advocates) create niches where people can profit, not by relieving suffering, but by perpetuating it - usually in the 'helping caring' industries.

The AIDS industry relies on government grants (and to a lesser extent on voluntary contributions). Ultimately these are money making organizations, whom earn their income through making people feel guilty, or convincing people that they can help the situation. Some of them probably can, but the reality is that a solution is not in their interests. Few people ever work their way out of a job.

The saddest thing the AIDS industry has ever done is to promote the slogan 'Aids doesn't discriminate, people do'.

If a murderer's victims were 95% men, most people would say that was discrimination. If a murderer's victims were 90% homosexual, most people would say that was discrimination. If a murderer was far more likely to kill intravenous drug users than non-drug users, most people would consider that was discrimination.

Yet they claim that AIDS (which does all of these things) doesn't discriminate. While semantic pedants can define discrimination as something only an intelligent entity can do, and point out that AIDS is just a virus, the implication is obvious: "It's not your fault you have AIDS, therefore it is not as a result of your actions. Therefore, a dangerous lifestyle has nothing to do with contracting AIDS". Therefore people will take risks and more people will get AIDS. They they are taking money to solve the problem, but merely making it worse.

Clearly the slogan has been designed by people from the homosexual lobby - it is designed to discourage discrimination against homosexuals. Homosexual groups (who understandably have an interest in AIDS) have been permitted to hijack the AIDS grants and are using it for their own political ends.
