D: A bizarre occurrence in Spain in which extremely stupid people stand in the streets while a large number bulls are released. The people then run away from the bulls as fast as possible in an effort to avoid being trampled or gored.

These people are clearly stupid. If they want to get gored why not just stand still and get gored? If they don't want to get gored why not run away before the bulls are released? However the stupidity is their choice.

There are many examples of mindless self inflicted harm in the world, but few more illustrative of the fact that people expect others to subsidize not just their way of life, but also their acts of self harm.

In former times, where medical technology was less advanced, these people would eliminate themselves from the gene pool. Generally in modern times they don't.

I wonder how many of the injured refuse government subsidized medical aid to treat them? Now that would be macho.
