"The government should do something. I don't know what. But they should do something."

How original.

Perhaps setting up another ATSIC and throwing nearly a billion dollars a year in guilt money at for 14 years so white Australia can feel better about their ancestors winning a war with some black people? What a great idea!

Keep 'em coming! You are so .. progressive!

Funny about the cycle of racism - most other groups (with some noticable religious exceptions) seem to be integrating into Australian society pretty well. Some 'unfair' racism will always exist in society - it's simply a choice that some people will make. But 'unfair' discrimination in a free society creates opportunities for others. People who don't discriminate 'unfairly' will end up better off.

Really? And who are these people? Point to one walking around the streets. Yes there was a war. The Aborigines lost. Nearly every piece of inhabited land on this planet owes its ownership to a war at some point in the past. This was true of Australia even before the Europeans arrived.

If your claim is that I believe a society based on choice is better than one based on force and exploitation, I make no apology.

If your claim is that I would prefer to live in mainstream Australian society than a traditional Aboriginal society - again I make no apology.

Complaining that 'the gummint should do something, but I don't know what' makes you sound like an ignorant lefty.

And whining like this makes you sound like a miserable grump.
