Law and order has broken down. Gangs of thugs are roaming the streets.
Any gang of four or more knows they can overpower the occupants of any house
and rape and loot to their heart's content because no-one has any guns. The
worst that could happen is they would have to change their minds and run away.
Scenario 2: Law and order has broken down. Armed gangs of thugs are roaming the streets.
Any gang of four or more knows that they can try to overpower the occupants,
but since many occupants are armed they have a very good chance of being shot
and killed. In which scenario would you feel safer? Which one would you choose for your 12
year old daughter?
