A commendably restrained post, Strawman. You improve a great deal when you don't get too worked up. Essentially, I concur with your general gist. The pollies are being hypocritical, and it is entirely the business of the company and its shareholders, no one else. Alex Robson also made a good point, that the money is small potatoes compared to many others. If anyone wants to complain about 'unfair' work/productivity to wage ratios, there are plenty of better examples. So here I am, a Lefty that thinks Cuffe earned that money through superior business and negotiating skills and excellent timing. As you say, let him take the money and run! As long as he pays his share of tax. :-)
