I am not even going to look for a ?root cause? as media routinely does exculpating terrorists. I?d like to note two things: 1. Many Arab and few Western newspapers and other media used fake photos (e.g. Boston Globe and London Daily Mirror), which puts the credibility of some criticism in doubt. 2. The whole issue is blown out of proportion (I am quite ignorant as I don?t read a lot of news, but I haven?t heard about any murdered prisoners) compare to atrocities regularly committed by Islamists.
