Doubtless this happens in corrupt third world countries too. Does that prove they are not corrupt?

I don't know what other term to use for locking up an innocent person for 10 weeks, making them wear shackles and repeatedly strip-searching them.

Some people might enjoy this experience, but not very many.

This miscarriage of justice may be addressed by compensation in the future, and we may argue about whether the compensation is adequate, but as at now - the miscarriage of justice still stands.
