Strawman, do you really want them sent back? Do you think they come 1)here for economic surplus, or 2)to flee from a an oppressive Government and a basket case economy. If it is 1), then it is our fault for doling it out. If it is two, blame the commie bastards, not the asylum seekers or bleeding hearts. I doubt you favour welfare and are against immigration and trade woth decent quarantine and security. You might say there wouldn't be a need for this if the Vietnam war was fought properly, ( the only way we should have been involved, US politicians giving the Generals, such as Westmoreland free reign and more troop commitment from Aus, and invasion of Nth Vietnam), so it is not our fault, but dead politicians.
