It is really quite strange that we should be so obsessive about small number of civilian casualties. Many men in history have been falsely accused and convicted of rape. Does that mean that we should abandon laws against sexual assault altogether, no it means that we do our best to minimize such mistakes but within reason. To do otherwise would be to ensure that no woman would ever feel safe ever again. The fact that men will unnecessarily go to prison is the price we have to pay for ensuring that society can function at all. And by society I mean the individuals within that society. As technology gets better, less innocent men will go to prison (from DNA tests) and less civilians will be bombed. Our only objective is to win this war with as few allied casualties as possible.
