while I aplaud strawman's cost-benefit analysis, I'm not sure if the debate is closed now. indeed, this is really the start of the real debate. strawman has taken the admirable step of bringing some warnicks into the right frame of analysis (so hopefully we can move past the empty rhetoric of 'sadam is bad, mmm-kay' and 'the government must do something... anything'), but the analysis isn't over... when I have more time, I'll address some of strawman's points and see if we can refine some of the benefits of costs further but (as always) it's a pleasure to have people like strawman on the scene saving face for some of the other less-thoughful warnicks. 24601
