Strawman, You seem have one primary assumption; even if the system (immigration, welfare and labour markets) were changed to a reformed or liberalised state, the waves of unskilled workers would be unable to produce economic goods and rely, and lobby for handouts, regardless if they could see the benefits of working hard and building their own wealth and earning capacity, even if the composition of type of people was to change (capitalists as opposed to welfare candidates). (Although hard to reform, once liberalised, it seems lately, politically that reregulating things is unpalatable [whilst raising taxes isn't].) It's just that I have seen the opposite attitude from migrants who settle. Statistically, I might be flying on Swine Airways. Now, what makes you so inclined; cynicism, experience or data?
