I wonder if this mooted raising of awareness will include making the proles aware of several of the more rhetorically flowery surahs. For instance, 19:88 (He who says, “The merciful Lord has begotten a son,” has preached a monstrous thing. The very heavens might crack, the earth be broken up, the mountains crumble to dust.) certainly paints a vivid image, whilst 'and the tree will say "there is a jew behind me, please kill him"'has a sparse eloquence all of its own. Shouldn't our children, in between being given the chance to appreciate the splendour of ebonics and understanding the essential modern truth that White Males are irredeamably evil, be introduced to such epigrammaticly succinct statements of eternal Middle Eastern verity?
