What I don't understand is why we need new laws that say blowing people up or plotting to blow people up is illegal Well Brendan, before the legislative changes the government was confused about whether they were dealing with a terrorist or the terrorist. Since that has been cleared up they can now arrest people. It's good that a terrorist plot was stopped. It will be interesting to see how the story evolves...
