I find it interesting that you assume Libertarians are automatically non-Christians. Why is this?
I think the reason you find such a behaviour interesting may have something to do with aspects of your life, whether it be loneliness which has led to a curiosity about others because of little direct human contact on your part, or whether it be simply because you are intellectually inquisitive. From the comments on this site, it is clear that both types come here, and that not all are simply diverting from human interaction. I do not know which explanation of your interest in the way I classify people is correct, as I have not closely followed the issues on which you have made comments, although when I have I have found what you have said to be fairly reasoned, at least for a Libertarian. No man is an island, but perhaps you have already yourself found the Truth, or at least have a feeling inside that the Truth is what it is, even though you may not have made all adjustments necessary to appreciate His love and wisdom and kindness. Grace beckons, perhaps, but is still to be encountered? Some here, Tex most obviously but also the one who goes by the name Strawman, clearly have not paddled that path at all; and instead of loving and gentleness are flailing around at all sorts of political issues and earthly concerns that do not really matter when one has a place in the bigger picture on His kingdom. Little children already suffer, yet some find solace in aggressively promoting capitalism to hide their inner angst of being outside what really matters - His love. I would feel sorry for such people but I know that there is hope; that with prayer and guidance they can avoid the rocks are head back along the righteous stream. But from observation of their comments, which lack a certain charity, there are not many here who seem to have done so, and so it is on the basis of observation, rather than by automatic assumption, that I have divined the general worthiness of Libertarians.
