You need to get your facts right. 1) Most of the cars and properties damaged are not your average white-Frenchmans. It is the property of other Arabs/Africans. Thats what happens when you riot in your own neighborhood. I'm sure your average Arab/African wishes the rioters would spontaneously combust even more than the rest of France. 2) Lots of the Africans/Arabs did not come over as guest workers (i'm not sure some of them ever worked; perhaps a better term is guest non-worker). They came over for multiple reasons, not least of which was fleeing countries messed up by French colonialism (like Algeria). Other things like bringing partners (wives) back is also common, as it is in some communities in Australia. 3) 8% is most probably an underestimate (different figures abound). It also depends who you consider a muslim. Most of the second generation are approximately as Muslim as most Christians are Christian in Australia. I doubt many have even read the Koran.
