and giving it to them, and as soon as they vote, they will be taking my money
and giving it to themselves. >> The whole issue of you owning shares in a nation is questionable. Do you
>> beleive you are a "stakeholder"? Yes (stop laughing, I'm serious :). I have the same voting power as anyone else
in the gerymandered electorate I come from. The problem isn't with the government, it's with the idiots who voted for them.
They surround me. I see them in the street. I hear them in the coffee shops
saying 'the government should do something', and 'that new subsidy worked so
well for me' and 'we are such a compassionate society'. Can't live with 'em
can't shoot 'em! It pisses me off! In a democracy I get the government that they deserve. >> Don't pick on frog politicians, Basistat was a member of the assembly. >> The issue of open borders and doling out taxes, even in a social democracy can

>> towards capitalism". Right, like the Chinese spent all that time "working towards communism" :) Is it going to happen faster or more efficiently with uneducated unskilled
migrants flooding into the country and being given voting shares? [Hint: no]. >> ".. oh that's right - it's only compassion when you give away other people's

>> intervention? Well, sorry, I gave at the office (in the form of income tax), and I'm just
fresh out of handouts right now.
