As for separating the economic surplus and fleeing a unproductive, poverty stricken system of allocation, they could be separated if it was ensured that they would come here if it was ensured they would either produce economic good or their welfare was cared for voluntarily. The whole issue of you owning shares in a nation is questionable. Do you beleive you are a "stakeholder"? Don't pick on frog politicians, Basistat was a member of the assembly. The issue of open borders and doling out taxes, even in a social democracy can be brought down to reforming and limiting welfare, then deregulating the labour market and immigration. It would still be semi socialist as we are "working towards capitalism". ".. oh that's right - it's only compassion when you give away other people's property." - of course, how can we possibly give to the poor without Government intervention? Notice how I am farily admiring of some dead white males such as Westmoreland, and more so, George Reid and Barry Goldwater. I am just fairly critical of most politicians.
