"the Australian legal system is not much different to that in any corrupt third world country: it's all about money, and who you give it to." Please spare us the hyperbole. One high profile legal case isn't anywhere near enough to demonstrate this proposition. Innocent people without any money go free every day in Australia, and guilty people with lots of money go to jail every day. And since when did getting set free on appeal constitute a "miscarriage of justice"?
